The Professional Proposal will be written in groups of 3-4 in response to an RFP that asks respondents to define and solve a problem with a website educating constituents to solicit public buy-in to a locally funded solution. For full credit Proposals will include a Title Page; Abstract; Proposal Narrative (Definition, Problem Statement, Demographics, Recommended Solution); Schedule (Gantt Chart); and Personnel. Upload the final draft to Canvas as .pdf file on or before the due date. |

During this six-week, collaborative project, student teams will use a web writing tool of their choice (Ex: WordPress, Wix, Weebly, Omeka) where they will publish the following collaboratively generated requirements: Splash Page, Purpose Statement, Podcast, Accessible Design/Navigation, Feature Stories, Infographic, Glossary, Participatory E-tool, and Team Bios. Upload the Website URL to Canvas on or before the due date. |

In lieu of a final exam, Teams will write a collaborative User Report to include segments of site tested; test used and rationale; tester recommendations; response to recommendations for changing/not changing the site; and appendixes of testing results for each test. Upload the final draft to Canvas on or before scheduled final exam date. |
